"And This Is Where I Unsubscribe"

Said Mr. Fox in an email after reading my post last week about Shabbat.

I then replied, as I do to almost every response, especially those asking to unsubscribe.

ME: “You will be missed.  Come back when you are able to share different viewpoints on life. Take an exit survey and at least explain why”

Mr. FOX: “You act like you want everyone to think that you are interested in understanding their beliefs or hear their perspective, but it is pretty clear that you have other agendas to push. Saying “zealots are dressing up to go be seen” makes it obvious that creating a safe place to discuss ideas isn’t on your list of objectives.

I have plenty of other people I follow who have the basic knowledge and self awareness to show respect and an open mind for productive conversations. You are not one of them.

Once you find a way to actually uplift people instead of drive a wedge maybe you’ll get a following of people that will care to deeply listen to you. Then you may have a slight chance to make a positive impact.

Be kind. There’s not much else that matters behind your name.

Best ,

ME: Mr. Fox, Clearly my words have caused you to be triggered.  I’m so very intrigued at how you know my intentions.  You must have the spirit of discernment. Of the 16k readers, you are the only one who has responded this way, so I must have identified something you have on your mind. Do you struggle with the idea of being a zealot? Do you wish there were more windows in your place of worship?

I don’t know who you are, but I would like to share your response in my upcoming email and let the public decide if my emails drive a wedge vs uplift people.  It’s seems evident you will be dressing up and heading inside a windowless building for worship here shortly.

May you find your safe place you seek to discuss stuff at 9, 11 or 1pm at the local ward…my blog has never been a safe place and I have stated that many times.  And as for my agenda I am pushing? Please do tell me what you think it is so I can better disclose to my readers.  Besides working for the Illuminati and Satan and the occasional gigs for the deep state, I have no agenda I can think of really?

Please do unsubscribe if you are truly convinced my 110 blog posts serve no purpose and uplift no one and do no good and have no impact for positivity.  I love the feedback.  It does help me get better and confirms many of my hypotheses about organizations and the impact on their patrons.

Your favorite emailer and maybe future lover,

Scott Paul

Also, here is some treatment on your response from a super intelligence speaking way better than I can as a mere comedian working for Satan:

“Analyzing this email for logical fallacies involves identifying arguments that are based on poor reasoning or misinterpretations. Here are a few potential fallacies:

 1. **Ad Hominem (Personal Attack):** The email attacks the character of the person ("You are not one of them" and "Once you find a way to actually uplift people") rather than addressing the actual argument or content of the person's statements.

 2. **Straw Man:** The email may be misrepresenting the original person's argument ("Saying 'zealots are dressing up to go be seen'"). It seems to oversimplify or twist their statements, making it easier to attack.

 3. **Hasty Generalization:** The sender quickly jumps to a conclusion about the recipient's intentions ("it is pretty clear that you have other agendas to push") based on limited information.

4. **Appeal to the Stone (Argumentum ad lapidem):** The sender dismisses the recipient's views as unworthy without providing a substantive reason ("I have plenty of other people I follow who have...").

 5. **Appeal to Popularity (Ad Populum):** There's an implication that the recipient's value is tied to their following ("Once you find a way to actually uplift people instead of drive a wedge maybe you’ll get a following"), suggesting that popularity equals correctness.

 6. **Moral High Ground Fallacy:** The sender assumes a position of moral superiority ("Be kind. There’s not much else that matters behind your name"), which is used to imply that their argument is superior. Remember, identifying fallacies can be subjective and depends on the broader context of the discussion.

Now I must interject here. I did the same treatment on my reply to him, and GPT told me I am also using several fallacies and trolling him. But isn’t the GPT a great dissector of arguments?

He then replies again, even when I show him ChatGPTs response to his email:

Mr FOX: Your response only validates my reason for unsubscribing. You didn’t actually care about my feedback. Your request to have me give feedback was just bait so you could have the opportunity to listen to yourself again since only .004% of the US population cares to hear from you. You probably feel better about yourself thinking that I’m a Mormon so that it will somehow line up with your level of disrespect or make you sound relevant, although you’ll never actually know if I belong to a denomination at all. Did someone do you wrong, or is it that you feel so uncomfortable with yourself that you have to attack everyone else? I’m happy with my beliefs, thank you though. And also, thank you for the tip on what time I can attend church if I decide to go.

I am an emotional little boy. I can’t help but to engage in back and forth. It makes me feel alive. It is a stronger hit than a double shot of espresso. Internet banter once in a while is healthy for my mind. I feel a back and forth like this once a quarter can keep neural degeneration away a few extra years because of how my mind gets electrified when engaging in arguments.

I have dedicated my posts to being human made, not ai made, so they will always have logical fallacies and comments that will be very disagreeable to many. Losing Mr Fox as a reader was always part of my plan and is a small price to pay as I charge forward to write what is top of mind in my feeble brain.

If I weigh the sensitive feelings of the people like Mr. Fox while attempting to flush out my human emotions in my Scottsposts, it would nuder the very essence of what I am trying to do. This doesn’t mean that I don’t try to hear where everyone is coming from in their comments to me, I just don’t have to apologize for my words, even if someone wants me to.

You know who can influence me? Someone doing the same thing. If there is someone out there typing their inner thoughts daily or weekly to thousands of opinionated people, I am very interested in their feedback. That is the good advice of my friend Alex, as he was telling my friend Travis not to listen to me or listen to anyone that hasn’t done what he is doing. He is building a apocalyptic hotel experience in the middle of nowhere. I’m going to share in upcoming email more about what he is doing at OutPostX.

Goodbye for today,

SP

My close friend gave me some stickers to put around the neighborhood.
