Natalie’s But

I realized that for 22 years she has been my but. 

Everything my brain comes up, every idea I get she says “but…”

This is probably why we have made it 22 years as a team.

Even though I tell myself I hate her but, I need her but in my life.

I wish she would just say once in a while “and…”, but it’s always a but.

I have plenty of friends that give me “and…”, but few who give me “but…”

So, thanks for your but my love
