News, Every 024 Hours, On the Hour

“News” is a funny word. Say it 20 times and look at it for a minute and you will start to wonder if it’s a real word. By doing this I am trying to create self-induced wordnesia, according to the Smithsonian. Even if the word “news” doesn’t look funny after a while staring at it, the concept of news is very silly. It just means new stuff to talk about and share, which is basically everything that isn’t old news. Even old news is pretty popular. The Bible is old news. Everything is news. I am a reporter right now sharing the news by telling you this nonsense. If you reply back to me and tell me some news…you can also put on your Linkedin that you are a reporter. The news is just what someone is saying and you can pick who you want to listen to. My news is every 24 hours at 4:20 and today news is a friendly reminder that 2024 backwards is 420, too.
